Abstract

Human society is a progressive society, whose socio-cultural and economic life has been continuously evolving. This continuity of development came in every section of the society, but there was variation in its speed. If it is said in the context of Baiga tribals, then their whole life is dependent on nature, and accordingly, their traditions, beliefs and economy have also been changing.  This change was also seen in Amarkantak region. The Baiga, who led a lonely life, gradually started coming in contact with the civilized society and introduced the civilized society with his method. When there is history writing on society and culture, and that too on common people, tribes or rural life, then the necessity of oral sources increases, although the writings on a particular Amarkantak region were studied as secondary sources, but through direct observations and Information about them has also been collected through informal interviews.  After studies, it was found that even today the Baiga society did not accept civilization in such a way that their migration should be done from their culture and society. He has preserved his integrity, honesty and freedom in the form of a traditional heritage.
