Abstract

In the presented research paper, the major religious festivals celebrated by the primitive tribes of Bastar have always been grateful to the bountiful nature, a memorandum of gratitude for the elements of nature in their culture, new On the arrival of the crop, it is done by celebrating the festival before receiving it. This is called "Kodata Tidana" (Nava Khani). Before sowing the seeds, they pray to the Mother Earth, they make a festival of Mati Puja. They express their reverence for the soil by singing and dancing after performing rituals. The three divisions of the community mainly make up.
