Abstract

Number of obese and over weight children have increased due to change in life
style. Obesity is an illness. This illness should be addressed psychologically with a social
change initiatives, Children . who are overweight or obese have a great deal of stress
which effect their progress in school in interaction with their peers and their role in family
dynamic is damaged. Success, beauty and personal worth is associated with persons body
image and “Thin Ideal” concept is supported in human culture. It is assumed that obese
are lazy stupid in component and are associated with many Physical and mental disorders.
With this knowledge of negativity associated with obesity, It seems clear that obese children need support from community help them to develop skills and strategies to copy with
negativity they will face in the society Programmers must be developed keeping in mind
that the most important contributing factor of obesity is energy imbalance between consuming calories and expanding them through physical activity. Human behavior can be
changed by proper training treatment and support.
