A Study of the Relationship between Academic Achievement and Adjustment Ability of Gifted Students

Abstract
Under the present dissertation, the relationship between academic achievement and adjustment forgiveness of meritorious students of higher secondary schools has been studied, in which 100 talented students have been taken as a sample and Dr. R.K. Ojha and Dr.K. Verbal Intelligence Test developed by Roy Chowdhury and designed by Prof. A.K.P. The Adjustment Inventory prepared by Sinha and Prof. R.P. Singh has been used. The Carl Pearson method was used to calculate the correlation. The results found that there is a significant and negative correlation between academic achievement and adjustment ability at low levels of significance (0.05). That is, the increase in academic achievement of gifted students is related to low adjustment ability.
