Abstract

Like other regions of the country, Chhattisgarh has also made an important contribution in the freedom struggle. We got the success of independence after a long struggle as a result of the relentless efforts, dedication and sacrifice of all religions, castes, classes in the national consciousness development and freedom movement. The contribution of "Satnami Samaj" of Chhattisgarh is also noteworthy in this long-term struggle, which played an important role in all dimensions of the freedom movement. Every person involved in this struggle is very important, but in the pages of history, special discussion is possible only of those patriots who understood the importance of freedom, valued the democratic values ​​and inspired people to walk with them by awakening them, these main People's leaders include Guru Balakdas, Guru Gosai Agamdas, Gorakshak Naindas Mahilang, Shri Anjordas Raikosale, Many social reformers like Shri Ratiram Malgujar, Mahant Bisoharam, Shri Baldev Prasad Satnami, Shri Megha Satnami, Minimata, Shri Reshmalal Jangde etc., working step by step with the other leaders here, established unity in the society and organized them for the freedom movement. motivated to participate. Even in the last phase of this struggle, the "Quit India Movement", the social workers and fighters of this society from all the districts of Chhattisgarh gave their selfless contribution and contributed significantly in bringing the British out of the country, which is unforgettable in the form of a glorious past.
