Studying the nature of educational information shared on Whatsapp

Abstract

In the present study, "the nature of educational information shared on WhatsApp was studied with special reference to student teachers". A total of 200 girl teachers (100 male female students and 100 female students) were selected by objective sampling method. Screenshot, image taken through WhatsApp messenger were used in Smartphone to collect data as a research tool.  The significance of the hypotheses was checked by percentage for statistical analysis. In the conclusion it was found that educational information is shared mostly by the student teachers through the image. A detailed analysis was also done on the basis of the data.
