Abstract

Today, what is being termed as a 'new poem', in fact it is not being translated as a new 'poetry' because its creative talents are new, and their tradition is brand new. The most prominent feature of the new poem is that it presents a combination of the latest dimensions of consciousness along with the new achievements of today's era. In today's poem, there is a question of presenting the solution of many social and political problems of life along with the fragrance of Parijat flowers, the smoke of miles apart from the grave charity of Kalidas' clouds, the cry of Hiroshima destroyed by atom bomb. As a result, the voice of disbelief found in today's new poetry is the same voice of disbelief of this era, which has manifested itself in poetry. In this research article, I have made an effort to tell these characteristics of the new poem.
