Abstract

 Targeted Public Distribution System was established in 1997 to remove poverty and to provide economic development in their lives by providing food grains and other essential commodities at reasonable prices to the families living below the poverty line. In the present study, by selecting the respondents of Satna district of Madhya Pradesh by the method of divine observation, the primary data was compiled. The implementation of this scheme was studied, after research it came to the fact that the economic-social condition of the beneficiaries of this scheme is pathetic, so the ration from this scheme is very important for them, but the successful implementation of this scheme is like less There is lack of measurement, quality of food grains and not getting full ration every month. Therefore, for its successful implementation, it is necessary that its implementation should be done transparently; only then this scheme will be successful in eradicating poverty in real sense.
