Abstract

 In the primitive folk or tribal socio-cultural traditions of rural towns residing in Kanker district or North Bastar princely region of Chhattisgarh, the trend of modernity and national socio-economic occupations has developed. The purpose of the present study is to study the cultural conditions of the tribes and to obtain knowledge of various aspects of culture and present a comparative study of the changes in the various aspects of past and present, so that the coming generation can get new inspiration.  Under the research method, the facts related to the title have been analyzed by studying the secondary sources. Even today, tribal societies have preserved their folk traditions and culture.
