Gandhian Movement, Freedom Struggle and Satnami Community in 1920-30s

Abstract

In this research paper, instead of descriptive style and extent, an attempt has been made to explore the participation, quantity and nature of Scheduled Castes at the Indian level. The researcher's effort has been to find out the reasons for the participation of the Satnami movement. An attempt has also been made to find out the reasons as to why the parochial and separatist tendencies and fierce opposition to Gandhism did not flourish here like in other parts of the country.
