Abstract

 The purpose of the present study is to do a comparative study of the professional interest of the students of college level vocational and non-professional courses, in which 180 students of vocational and non-professional courses studying in post-graduation in Raipur city were selected as a sample. To know the vocational interest in this research work, a standardized test designed by Kulshrestha was used. In the conclusion of the study, a significant difference was found between the literary, scientific and practical vocational interest of the students of vocational and non-professional courses. No significant difference was found in the areas of vocational, creative, artistic, agricultural, educational, social and home science vocational interest of the students of vocational and non-professional courses.
