Abstract

Language is a symbol of the dignity and identity of the country. He is related to the public, so it is necessary that for the development and progress of the country, he should have a language, through which he can conduct and render his work well. Language being an important part of our life has got mixed in our life. Language has the ability to convey its ideas to other people.  In this, the idea, permission and message vehicle are expressed by symbols. In the present research, a study has been presented on Hindi proficiency in the context of mother tongue. Hindi mother tongue and non-Hindi mother tongue students have been selected in the study and a significant difference was found in the students' Hindi proficiency and achievement towards Hindi.
