Abstract

Effective, efficient and accessible health facilities are provided to the rural people by the national rural health mission. Its objective is to improve the health system through effective expenditure of this new amount to be given under the national common minimum program and also to encourage policies that can strengthen public health management and health service availability in the country. Asha is a recognized social worker. Whose work acts as a link between the rural people and the health service centers, so that the goals of the national health and population policy can be achieved? The purpose of the present research is to evaluate the role of asha in the national rural health mission, the amount of incentives and the work done for health improvement. In the above research paper, secondary data, research papers, magazines, books, newspapers, government papers, magazines and internet were used. The study found that the role of asha worker is very important in the field of maternal health, child health, adolescent health, common diseases, immunization and family planning.
