Study on Attitude and Awareness of Teachers towards Environment

Abstract

For the purpose of studying the attitude and awareness of teachers towards the environment, teachers of five development blocks of Shahdol district were taken in the presented research. A total of 100 female and 100 male teachers were taken at random for the study. To measure the attitude of teachers Dr. Seema Dhawan's scale was taken to measure Singh's and teachers' awareness. The mean and standard deviation of the obtained data were determined, on the basis of which the value of t was determined. It was found from the study that there is no difference in the attitude and awareness towards the environment of art and science teachers of government schools, whereas female teachers are more aware of environment than male teachers of government schools. No difference in attitude was found.
