Abstract

The tradition of woodworking is very ancient and rich. Humans started trying to bring out various forms in wood from the primitive age. Ever since humans learned to live in houses, the prestige of woodwork has increased. Therefore, man's faith center and his residence made of wood can be called the peak of architecture. The ancient history of bastar is hidden in their handicrafts. The artifacts of bastar are made in small and big sizes. The woodwork of bastar is based on the basis of painting itself. Painting is essential for woodworking. The tribal-dominated bastar has become synonymous with handicrafts. The practice of woodworking has been here since time immemorial.
