Attitude of Hindi Medium Students towards Learning English Language

Abstract

In the present study, the main and hence functional effect of gender area and school type on the attitude of Hindi medium students towards learning English language has been studied. In this study, 120 boys and 120 girls have been selected by random method from higher secondary schools in rural and urban areas (durg district, chhattisgarh). Self-made certified scale has been administered to measure the attitude of selected students towards learning English language. The three-way variance analysis (2×2×2 factorial design) has been calculated by taking the scores of English language aptitudes of the selected subjects. It is clear from the results that region and school type influence the attitude of students towards learning English language. Gender, region and school type interactively influence students' attitudes towards learning the English language.
