Effect of Yoga on Mental Health

Abstract
The present study was carried out to know about the impact of yoga (‘Art of Living’ basic course) on mental health. Mental Health Check List developed by Pramod Kumar was administered on subjects twice, i.e., once before the commencement of the yoga training course and another time, after completion of the course. These before-after test scores were subjected to‘t’ test. Result revealed that subjects have shown a significant improvement in their mental health (‘t’=2.40; p<0.05).
