Abstract

Establishment of responsible government and constitutional development in Raigad princely state (independence achieved) The early history of Raigad princely state is often not clear, however, on the basis of traditional information, the dynasty of Raigad is related to the Raj God dynasty of Chanda Maharaj. The founder of the princely state was Madan Singh.  The ruler of Raigad princely state, the Haidayavanshi ruler of Ratanpur, Maharaja Patna, Maharaja Sambalpur ruled under the suzerainty of the Marathas and the British East India Company, after India's independence merged with the Indian Union. The administration of the Raigad heritage was a step conducted through the court of Raja Kendriya No. The Diwan and the Assistant Diwan were his associates. Governance Council, State Council, Executive Council and Legislative Assembly were formed to make the administration happy.
