Evaluation of Study Habits between Arts and Science group Students

Abstract

All the changes acquired by experiences which are displayed in behavior are called habits. Many factors contribute to the formation of habits. There are wide variations in the study habits of the students. Some students like to study together in a group, while some students understand only by studying completely in solitude. As far as habits and education are concerned, education undoubtedly contributes to the formation of habits.  The role of school environment, teacher and subject variation is important in the formation of habits. In the present research, difference was found in the study habits of the students of Arts and Science group. Similarly, difference in study habits was found between the students of both the groups. The differences obtained on this basis can be interpreted as the effect of subject type and gender differences.
