A Sociological Study of Bangladeshi Refugees

Abstract

The present study is a sociological study of Bangladeshi refugees. The study is based on Bangladeshi refugees living in Mana Kemp in Raipur districts. For the study, 40 families have been selected from among the refugees settled in Mana Kamp through divine guidance method. Interview-Schedule method has been used for collection of facts. From the facts obtained from the study, it is known that most of the Bangladeshi refugees are satisfied with the facilities provided by the government.  Presently they are involved in the local community gatherings, socio-cultural activities. There has also been a drastic change in the traditional cultural beliefs of the refugees.
