Effect of Parental Encouragement on Emotional Intelligence

Abstract

Parental encouragement affects a lot to change the Psychological behaviour of the child and at the same time it helps in the increasing of the Emotional intelligence. The purpose at the present study was to know the effect of parental Encouragement of Emotional intelligence of 11th grade students. 40 Sample of B.S.P. students were taken. The data was collected using Agarwal Parental Encouragement scale (APES) for parental Encouragement and Mangal Emotional intelligenceinventory (MEII) for Emotional Intelligence has been used. The hypothesis wastesting using ANOVA. The Result of the present study revealed a significant effect of Parental Encouragement on Emotional intelligence of 11th grade students.
