After Dissolution in Joint Family: Status of Nuclear Family

Abstract
Due to the influence of western culture on Indian society and due to industrialization, individualistic attitudes are becoming stronger in the family, due to which each member of the family works only for the fulfillment of his own interests and self-interest, as well as increasing poverty, family organization, his peacea and hollowing out the foundation of sustainability. Most of the families in India lived together in earlier times. In modern times, there is disintegration in the joint family. After dissolution, there have been many important changes in the condition of nuclear family. In this study, the percentage literacy rate and urbanization status of joint family in different states of the country, education level of nuclear families and economic status of nuclear family after separation from joint family were obtained through survey and secondary data , The analysis of the data revealed that the joint family has a negative relationship with the literacy rate and urbanization. Educated people do not like to live in joint family. And after separation from the joint family, the economic condition of most nuclear families has improved.
