Abstract

In the present study, an attempt is being made by the researcher to find out what is the effect of college autonomy on the teacher's effectiveness of the professors. Simultaneously, an attempt was also made to know that whether the professors are female or male, what difference does it make on their teaching effectiveness. As a sample, autonomous and non-autonomous colleges of Milai city of Durg district of Chhattisgarh have been selected. Out of these, 2 colleges of autonomous and 6 colleges of non-autonomous have been selected; the total number of samples was 200. Four separate groups of female and male professors of autonomous and
